Preparing for Enough!

Before your first session (18th Jan for the Monday group, 20th Jan for the Wednesday group), please do the following exercises to prepare. They should be done quickly, without overthinking. They are only a starting point.

1. Make a list of your priorities.

2. List three ways you unwind.

3. List three ways you rest.

4. List three ways you restore.

5. What does balance mean to you? Answer with a picture.

6. List five jobs you would do instead of the one you currently have if time/money/training/logistics were no object. Textile artist? Professional ballroom dancer? Nuclear physicist? Pastry chef? Plumber? Then ask yourself, what is it about each of these jobs that appeals to me? Write that down too.

7. Complete the following sentences:*

My largest time commitment is…

As I play more, I work…

I feel guilty that I am…

I worry that…

If l let myself feel it, I’m angry that…

8. List ten things you love and would love to do but are not allowed to do.*

10. Note anything that has bubbled up for you as you have completed these exercises.
